Early access · The Shovel for Indian DeFi

The Eyes of the Ledger

UwU is a Decentralized Verification Network built on Algorand. We don't just move money — we verify real-world banking events and publish on-chain attestations. By integrating with RBI-regulated Account Aggregators, we turn a private UPI transaction into a programmable on-chain primitive.

01 · The opportunity

Why are these two economies still parallel lines?

India's TradFi moves $1.5 Trillion annually via UPI. Indian Web3 is projected at $1.1 Trillion of GDP by 2032. There is no programmable bridge between them. Whoever provides the infrastructure to link these two becomes the Shovel Producer in the inevitable gold rush of Indian digital finance. UwU is building that shovel.

02 · The problem

P2P on-ramping is a 'Trust Me Bro' dark forest

The Indian P2P crypto space is plagued by scams because it runs on screenshots and handshakes. Buyers pay UPI and hope for the best. Sellers release assets and pray the payment wasn't reversed. UwU replaces hope with cryptographic proof — a verified, on-chain attestation that a specific bank transfer happened, irrevocably published before any escrow releases.

03 · The stack

Algorand as the global hub for payment attestations

Core protocol on Algorand (ARC-4) smart contracts, with Algorand State Proofs on the roadmap to let developers on Ethereum or Solana verify UPI transactions too. Payment verification via RBI-regulated Account Aggregators (Setu, Finvu) under the DEPA framework. V2 introduces ZK proofs — the fact of payment is public; private banking details stay shielded.
